Two New Substances Added to the Candidate List

On January 19th, 2020 two new substances have been added to the Candidate List of substances of very high concern (SVHCs). The list includes now 211 chemicals substances.

Here are the two new entries:

- Bis(2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethyl)ether;

- Dioctyltin dilaurate, stannane, dioctyl-, bis(coco acyloxy) derivs., and any other stannane, dioctyl-, bis(fatty acyloxy) derivs. wherein C12 is the predominant carbon number of the fatty acyloxy moiety.

ECHA added them to the list due to their toxicity level and the probable serious effects to human health and the environment.

This update is already available on our SDS Authoring Tool, ExESS and was published only 2 hours after the official publication!
