REACH Annex XVII Amendment on PAHs Now Applicable
As a reminder, Commission Regulation (EU) 2021/1199 of 20 July 2021 amending Annex XVII to REACH enters into force today (August 10th, 2022). The Amendment concerns the ban of eight polycyclic-aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) used as infill material in artificial turf pitches or in loose form on playgrounds or other sport facilities above certain concentration limits.
