Final Report on Robust Study Summaries

ECHA, in cooperation with the OECD, has conducted a project to evaluate the role of robust study summaries (RSS) and verify their adequacy for hazard assessment. According to the report published in April 2023, RSS do provide reliable information for hazard assessment but could still be improved on specific areas, namely: 

● RSS review process

● Training and guidance

● Author’s experience and expertise

● Validation rules

● IUCLID user interface
● OECD Harmonized Templates updates
